I want this girl to go far, she is an awesome singer and I just love her music. I saw her for the first time Sept 1, 2002 when she opened for Melissa Etheridge in Portland, OR. I just saw her again last night (09/23/02) in Portland and between my first and 2nd meeting with her I bought 2 of her CD's. She has now signed them both for me and let me take a picture with her. Garrison and band (bass+drums) played in a backyard somewhere in in Alameda, california. A friend went all out for his 40th and brought in the band, bbq, beer and about 100 friends total. Everyone had an excellent time! Dancing to originals all night long. Oh yeah .. they played a countrified "Dead Flowers" as well as an Allman Bros tune(garrison played drums). Not a cd left to sell i'm sure. Garrison was great! Very generous as she gave me tix for the last Melissa show in Santa Rosa. Looking forward to seeing her this weekend for her 2 NoCal shows. Catch her if you can. -alison ...glad i don't live in Ohio... ;)
