Comments: Hi! My name is David, Mattia Prisco, Zaccagnini and i've casually found your internet site.

I'm 19 and I live in Florence... I knew we had some "relatives" in the USA, but we didn't know where.
I think you want some informations about us.
My family comes from the italian region of Emilia, and in the first part of XX century moved to Tuscany because of politic problems. In Florence my ancestor Ugo created a factory of ceramics; then came my great-grandfather Prisco who worked with Walt Disney in the '20s!
Disney asked him to made some ceramic models of his characters, we have still that little statues. It's all true!
During the WWII he fought the Nazis as a partisan; during the war my grandfather, Walter, was only a child. Italy changed after the war, the factory had some problems, but we have ever been free artists. My father is Massimo, and here I come. I try to be an artist too, I love painting and drawing, and I study at the University of Biology, in order to study Medicine and became a surgeon.

The name Zaccagnini is a Northern Italy surname and means "the son of the warmonger" (all the surnames that end in -ini mean 'son of' and come from the North-Center of Italy). Zaccagn- is something that shows the fight, or the fist. Our ancestors were swordsmen...

Well, it's funny to found "relatives" in this way...
