Hello. I was a Morse code instructor in the 1967-8 time frame at A-6-2. I was also an active ham there, WB4LCC, and spent countless time at the MARS station. That was during a time when BC-610s were still the transmitters used with a large curtain rhombic employed to run traffic to Southeast Asia. I still stay in touch with Fred, K9BIT, now KF9GX. He and I were active with local radio groups on post. John Grove, W4VUC, was another code instructor at A-6-2. He was a close friend and quite active on 6 meters from Radcliff.
