My father was the Pastor of the Baptist church in Grand Harbour and Seal Cove. I have many memories of the old ferry, the fishing, and just everything about the island! We used to go fishing for flounder off the wharf in Seal Cove. My brother was best friends with Russell Ingalls! It has been so long ago that we lived here, but I still have vivid memories! I miss eating dulse and smoked herring. I would really love to go back and visit! Maybe someday.

Comments: We visited Grand Manan Island for 2 nights on our honeymoon 4 years ago and vowed that we would be back. We have rented a cottage at Whale Cove Inn for a week in the middle of July and can hardly wait to get back to the wonderful hiking trails, beautiful beaches, great food and warm and friendly residents.
