The first pastor was Elder Dunlap Chenault at that time the church was known as Lincoln Park Church of Christ. Bis. Charles Watkins (1923-1988) also pastored this church from 1954-1959. I believe that Bis. William Ellis was sent to pastor this church in 1968. But this church was founded by Bis. R.C. Lawson.

Ellis was probably the first pastor of Lincoln Park Church, but I thought that this church was founded by the late Bishop R.C. Lawson (1883-1961). Bishop Ellis refers to this in the article that in placed in the 70th year souvenir journal of PAW.
