With the help from this web site and my professor for American Heritage, I have begun to take a different view to our society. I found this site to be quite informative. The sections I enjoyed most were the ones about family life, Chicano foods, Culture, and History. From these sections I extracted much needed information on our present and past society for an essay assigned by my professor. Although the site is very informative, I would like to suggest a section exclusively for women in our society. Examples of materials to include are: roles in society (past and present), and contributions to the public interest. Another section I think is very important would be one on the diverse religions of our area. In all the site has proven to be helpful and full of interesting facts about our society. I would like to commend everyone involved in the creation of this site.

The coming of woman hood in our culture is very special and the things we do as a family a very remarkable. In our culture we emphasize the family alot, even though we have jobs to do and our kids have school to think about. You can not find a more closeness and togetherness in any other culture. We rely on the family for everything we do. Giong on family outings and sitting together at the the dinner table is not something rarely seen in our familys. Even though now in these hard times, we still find time to get away from the office and spend time with our family. This is something I am very proud to have in my culture and displaying this to the world was very clever on your part. I am writing an essay and the history section helped me very much. I had no idea that there were so many cultural influences on the valley. Thany you for your time and patience.
