Of course 'Blue' is just fantastic! I recall watching Kevin's band in a small London Theatre back in the 80's. He was trying to do the vocals of 'Why are we sleeping' but Ollie kept changing the riff to frustrate Kevin. It was very funny. A remarkable man and guitarist. Wish he was still here.

My then band "Bearded Lady" were hooked to play that night and we were a Glam Rock Band and very good at what we did. People like Phil Lynott and Gary Holton sort of took us under their wing and loved what we did. Anyway this guy suddenly runs full tilt toward the dressing room and I am right behind him wondering just what he is up to? when he gets inside with a mad look in his eye, picks up our lead guitarists right handed Strat turns it around to left hand and just does a blistering run from top to bottom....laughs, puts the guitar down and runs out into the Club. We looked at each other dumbfounded both at the cheek of the guy but more for his incredible virtuosity. A story I often relate to other musicians and I had to find out who he was after that and it wasn't difficult back then. I loved Patto and was very sad to hear of his passing. Great that he left so much of his music for others to learn from and appreciate.
