Comments: Terry---You may or may not recognize me, but I was your student teacher way back in 1971 under Mrs. Merrilyn Reynolds.
Following my student teaching, I was married to Kay Jean McCarty at Rockfield, and launched out into what I thought would be a prosperous teaching career. I was dismissed from Rensselaer Central Schools for discipline problems, and through a chain of events, I ended up as a Custodian IV at the Indiana Veterans' Home near West Lafayette.
At present, I am still working there for the private firm which has taken over cleaning the institution.
I am serving as Board Member of the Carroll County Wabash-Erie Canal, Inc., (www.wabashanderiecanal.com), Delphi Indiana Main Street, and the Carroll County Cancer Association.
I am still married with two children, Elizabeth Ann(Larimer), two grandchildren(Rachael Christine and Zachary Ty), and Michael Alan.
