Comments: Okay, I'm going to give you all an update. I am David Tatum's mom. David Tatum aka Desaix has been working at high speed for the past several years trying to get himself launched as a paid scifi/fantasy writer. He reads your requests to finish his fanfics, and greatly appreciates them, but he simply does not have the time to write fanfic now because he's so busy writing his novels and preparing a series of short stories. Right now, he's finishing up a new manuscript of an interesting fantasy I know you'll love. So far, he hasn't managed to get his books published, though he has manuscripts floating out there in publisher-land in great hope that some (really good) publisher will have mercy and provide him with a nice publishing contract to help get him launched. But you should check his website http://www.maelgyn.com/ every now and then, REALLY (I know it seems a looong time since he's updated it, but that's coming soon, too). At some point in the near future, he plans to self-publish some short stories from this site. Also, once he gets a book sold and along towards being published, he'll update you on that. If you liked his fanfics, you'll LOVE his novels. I suspect those of you who like his anime fanfics will particularly like his fantasies.

Comments: I know you must be a busy guy.

I know you probably have a life, doing things you have to do.

But does it hurt to update your fanfic? It's collecting dust.
The last time you updated it was 2007! Please finish it at least.
At least provide some kind of closure.

At 73 Chapters with 2500+ (growing) reviews and over approximately 431,000 words,
I believe your fanfic deserves to be updated and completed,
and as a fan, speaking for other fans, I believe we would all be overjoyed
to see this story at least be finished (better if it went on!).

It has been left unfinished for too long.

It is time to take the reigns once more, and finish a story of epic proportions.
