  1. What slows a computer's outlook express and internet capabilities? Alos, what causes gray shadow horizontal lines on your monitor?
  2. Does Windows XP except older hardware devices? Yes only if you meet Microsoft's Signed Signature List of Vendors. Microsoft made Windows XP mainly so the user has to upgrade existing hardware devices to the lastest and greatest hardware equipment. This is why choosing Windows XP might not be your 1st choice of operating systems. Some older printers, scanners, digital video/cameras don't support Windows XP or the software drivers don't exist. I would suggest staying with your current operating system due to Windows XP's limitations and Microsoft's so called Monopoly. If you do install Windows XP you must have a 500 MHZ's processor or greater in order to use Windows XP operating system or it may take you 10-15 minutes to boot up your Desktop/Laptop unit successfully. Why should you spend a fortune for new equipment at the expense of Microsoft's Monopoly policies. Hope this scenario helps people understand Windows XP's flaws and helps you make a wise decision of which operating system best fits your needs. Thanks, Greg.
