Joseph Hull Company and is listed as passenger number 104 on the ship’s list.[1][2] Their ship left Weymouth on 20 March 1635 and the ship’s list indicated that there were 106 passengers "Bound for New England".
  4. Wayne Husted is new to studio glass but his designs throughout the 1950’s for the Blenko Glass Company were ten years ahead of the studio glass movement. His non-functional forms and gigantic floor pieces were unprecedented. His glass originals are in many museums and books, and over the past few years his work has become very popular with collectors. Dr. Leslie Pina in her authoritative book Blenko Catalogs Then and Now notes “Collectors have sought after Wayne Husted’s designs more than any other."
  5. Moses Husted was born in Greenwich, Connecticut, the son of Angell Husted [ Huested ] and Rebecca Sherwood. By October 24,1696, Moses held a deed of sixteen acres of land in Salem County, New Jersey, from Jeremiah Beacon. Moses Husted, along with Captain Joseph Seeley are said to have founded the first settlement in what is now Fairfield Township, Cumberland County, New Jersey. Whom he married, his date or place of death, and any children other than sons Moses and David are unknown so far. [ Moses was about 37 years old when he purchased land in New Jersey, and was he was 51-53 years old when his sons David and Moses were born. In my opinion it's possible that he was married more than once with other children younger than David and Moses.
  6. George Husted - Dec 29, 2003 Categories: Geneolagy Robert and Angel Husted are buried in the ancient Tomac Burying Ground in Old Greenwich, CT. There is a new plaque there dedicated to them which reads as follows: = TOMAC BURYING GROUND The First Congregational Church of Greenwich Tomac Burying Ground is the oldest cemetery in Greenwich. Our earliest settlers are buried among the unmarked stones at the north end. It was probably used soon after Elizabeth and Rober Feake landed at Tomac Cove in 1640. With Capt. Daniel Patrick, they founded Greenwich by buying the land from the Asamuck and Patomuck bands of Indians. The transfer of land on July 18, 1640, was witnessed by Robert A. 9. JOHN HUS (Jan Hus) was born sometime around 1372 in the town of Husinec, Bohemia, in the area that is now the Czech Republic. Hus on trial "WE'LL COOK HIS GOOSE." Believe it or not, that phrase originated as a reference to a man whose last name means (in his native language, Czech) "goose" - John Hus. He was literally cooked - burned at the stake - but in being cooked he lit a fire of both nationalism and church reform. John - Jan in Czech - was born in 1374 to a humble family. He was ordained as priest in 1401 and spent much of his career teaching at the Charles University in Prague, Bohemia (in what is now Czechoslovakia). He was also the preacher at the Bethlehem Chapel in Prague. (Don't let "chapel" mislead you. Three thousand people packed in to hear his sermons.)
