Training Wisdoms:
- Be consistent-dogs learn by repetition
- Be patient-remember, they don't speak our language yet!
- End your training on a positive note
- Set your dog up to succeed
- If you don't want them jumping on your dress clothes, don't let them jump on your sweats!
- The command is "SIT"-not "sit, sit, s-i-i-it, sit, c'mon sit please!"
- Do not train when tired or stressed-the dog will sense it and behave badly
- Be confident-your dog looks to you for leadership
