FORT ORD TRIVIA:
  1. When fog rolls in to blanket only the fort. It has an image of a single planet. That's why Fort Ord is sometimes referred to as, 'The Planet.'

  2. Clint Eastwood was a swimming instructor at Fort Ord in the early fifties.

  3. Tom Selleck went through basic training at Fort Ord.

  4. Stilwell Hall's original building plans included a Gymnasium, Athletic Fields, Stadium, NCO Club, Tennis Courts and a Chapel.
