Tech Tips:
- Stagger is the difference in circumference between the outside tire and the inside tire (rf to lf, rr to lr)
- Final gear ratio is found by multiplying the trans ratio by the rear end gear ratio
- Bind is anything on the car that stiffens the suspension or restricts its movement
- Rear weight is the total of both rear tires divided by the total weight of the car
- Lerf rear weight is the amount of weight the left rear is greater than the right rear
- To measure a wheels bolt pattern, measure from the center of the #1 lug hole to the outside of the #3 lug hole
- Wheel offset or backspacing is the distance from the rear of the wheel at the bead seat, to the wheels backing plate
- Caster is the angle of the king pin from verticle
- 50/50 Shock is the same rating on compression as compared to the extension.
- A tie down shock extends harder than it compresses.
